Supply Chain Specialist

Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist. Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager -

• Monitor supplier quality, identify baseline risks, recommend new processes to improve quality or on-time delivery;
• Support the warehouse supervisor in inventory/stock analysis as required;
• Support procurement officers in their daily activities;
• Manage and update data in the ERP system, including price and delivery time;
• Collaborate on process improvement projects;
• Ensure supply chain material master data in the ERP system is properly updated
• Oversee the proposal process for assigned materials/services;
• Develop and qualify the supplier base in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager;
• Support contract and tariff negotiations, analyze expenses;
• Issue purchase orders and follow up, update deliveries and prices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Administration or Operations Management;
• 3 years of procurement experience in the manufacturing industry;
• Asset: Experience in the field of freight and project management, knowledge of SAP;
• Bilingual.
