After Sales Technical Advisor

Our client specializes in the supply of compressors and industrial compressed air products and is looking for a Technical Advisor. (70% mechanical and 30% electrical)

• Provide after-sales technical support to internal teams and distributors by phone and email;
• Verify and approve start-ups and installations at customer's premises;
• Act as a technical specialist for a range of products;
• Manage warranties;
• Keep technical documentation up to date and communicate changes;
• Give after-sales service training.
• Teach the technical concepts and fundamental principles related to the maintenance and operation of compressed air systems.

Requirements:

• DEP in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics;
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an electromechanic or industrial mechanic;
• Experience in customer service;
• Knowledge of the field of compressed air or related applications (pneumatics or hydraulics);
• At ease with computers (Microsoft Office, SAP);
• Available to travel occasionally in Western Canada (1 week every 3 months);
• Available to make service calls outside normal business hours;
• Have access to a vehicle and hold a valid driver's license;
• Bilingual.
