Building Structural Engineer

Our client, an engineering consulting firm in the building industry, is looking for a Building Structural Engineer. (90% design and 10% site supervision).

• Meet with clients;
• Prepare feasibility studies for various projects;
• Design of residential, municipal, commercial, industrial and institutional projects;
• Quality control of plans and documents prepared by team members;
• Preparation of cost estimates for the work;
• Preparation of plans, specifications and tender documents;
• Writing of various technical specifications and reports;
• For your projects, supervision of the site team during the work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (structure option) and member of OIQ;
• 4 years of experience in building structures;
• Knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, SAP, S-Concrete or other design software;
• Knowledge of CNB 2015 and CSA A23.3, S16 and O86 design standards (asset);
• Have access to a car, (km will be reimbursed);
• French, functional English.
