Radio Communication Technician

Our client, specialized in the field of radio communications and wireless technologies, is looking for a Radio Communication Technician, (50% in workshop, 50% in the field - Montreal and surrounding area).

• Carry out service calls and repairs at customer sites;
• Perform equipment installations at customer sites;
• Prepare systems in the workshop for installation at customer sites;
• Maintain the company's communications network;
• Install new communication sites;
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of site status and document activities or problems;
• Maintain current inventory and ensure availability of repair parts for your service vehicle;
• Ensure proper completion of paperwork: work order, contract, return sheet.

Requirements:

• DEC or DEP in Electronics;
• 2 to 5 years experience in radio communications (RF);
• Good knowledge of networking (router, switch, IP addressing);
• Knowledge of Motorola (Mototrbo), Kenwood or other products;
• Good knowledge of standard field measuring equipment;
• Valid driver's license, (service vehicle is provided);
• Bilingual.
