Technical Sales Representative

Our client, a specialist in the field of industrial ventilation equipment, is looking for a Technical Sales Representative for the province of Quebec.

• Respond to customer requests, analyze their needs and select equipment to meet needs;
• Communicate special requirements to the manufacturer and obtain prices;
• Prepare quotes and present them to customers;
• Follow up on sales with customers and negotiate contracts;
• Receive customer orders and prepare supplier orders in detail;
• Transmit drawings to the customer for approval
• Manage transportation costs and coordinate material deliveries to customers;
• Assist customers with technical questions and coordinate service calls;
• Maintain and establish customer relations, develop a marketing plan and participate in developing sales strategies.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or relevant experience in ventilation and/or building mechanics;
• 2 years of experience in sales, industrial equipment representation and supplier relations;
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite;
• Minimal travel, 1 or 2 times per year;
• Bilingual.
