Production Planner

Our client, a manufacturer of plastic containers, is looking for a Production Planner.

• Production planning, supply chain management, inventory logistics;
• Responsible for the complete cycle of raw materials for the manufacture of finished products: purchase/reception/allocation to production;
• Enter all manufacturing orders in the MRP system;
• Research products, negotiate and issue purchase orders to suppliers;
• Follow up on active purchase orders to ensure prompt delivery;
• Coordinate all customer packaging material returns;
• Find and fix inventory adjustments;
• Coordinate the transport of finished product to the external warehouse;
• Prepare finished product transfer documents.

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of experience as a production planner or buyer;
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP (Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset);
• Familiar with basic accounting software;
• Bilingual.
