Maintenance Technician

Our client, a manufacturer of plastic containers, is looking for a Maintenance Technician, (85% mechanical and 15% electrical/electronic).

• Log and analyze the machine data daily;
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work;
• Analyze the causes of failures and take corrective measures;
• Assist with line changeovers (setup) as needed by production;
• Inspect equipment in order to detect bad adjustments and faults;
• Maintain the spare parts inventory;
• Answer service calls outside of your work shift, (travel to the workplace during an emergency).

Requirements:

• DEP in Industrial Mechanics or Electromechanics;
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an industrial mechanic;
• Experience in machine set up and machine diagnostics;
• Asset: Experience with blowing equipment, conveyors and compressors;
• French.
