Ventilation Drafter

Our client, a contractor specializing in ventilation for the construction industry, is looking for a Ventilation Drafter.

• Draft ventilation integration drawings according to the directives of the project manager and the client;
• Prepare ventilation manufacturing plans, make updates with the superintendent and the project manager;
• Establish the list of materials required;
• Ensure the manufacturing of ventilation equipment and ensure follow-up;
• Perform the verification and interdisciplinary coordination for various building engineering projects for different sectors (institutional, commercial, industrial);
• Go to construction sites to take measurements;
• Prepare building models;
• Prepare installation plans;
• Optimize the design, in conjunction with the construction team.

Requirements:

• AEC or DEP or DEC in Building Mechanics or Industrial Drafting (ventilation);
• 2 years of experience as a ventilation drafter;
• Knowledge of REVIT, (knowledge of AutoCAD, CAD MEP or BIM is an asset);
• Reading complex plans and specifications;
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite;
• French, functional English.
