Quality Control Technician

Our client manufactures mechanical products for the transit industry. They are looking for a Quality Control Technician

• Control products upon receipt of goods, during manufacture and before shipment;
• Perform physical count of parts received and validate against purchase orders;
• Keep the various computerized logs up to date;
• Writing inspection and non-conformity reports;
• Check, calibrate and control measuring and test instruments.

Requirements:

• Training in machining or other relevant field;
• 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Able to read and understand mechanical plans;
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical parts (machining, bending, cutting, welding, etc.);
• Knowledge of metrology tools; vernier, micrometer, tape measure, etc.;
• French.
