Application Specialist (Mechanical)

Our client specializes in the design and manufacture of heat transfer equipment,. They are looking for a (Mechanical) Application Specialist. Under the direction of the Sales Director for North America, you will assist the sales team in developing proposals for industrial and commercial clients.

• Optimize thermal design of heat exchangers for air/steam mix in HVAC systems and in process control;
• Participate in product price evaluation based on labour and material cost;
• Work closely with application engineers to propose solutions best suited to client needs;
• Communicate with manufacturing representatives to discuss solutions or solve problems related to mechanical design, manufacturing or product usage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or DEC in Mechanical Engineering;
• Knowledge in thermodynamics (air/vapor mixture), combustion or heat transfer;
• Bilingual.
