Instrumentation and Control Technician

Our client, working in the design and manufacture of building products, is looking for an Instrumentation and Control Technician. (60% instrumentation and 40% programming)

• Participate in the design and implementation of automated systems;
• Install, calibrate and perform maintenance on various instruments (probes, controllers, sensors, security curtains);
• Install, configure and modify PLCs;
• Develop guidelines related to the operation of equipment;
• Document modifications made to equipment;
• Maintain an up-to-date record of instruments, their maintenance and calibration records;
• Contribute to the maintenance of electrical equipment and perform troubleshooting;
• Answer emergency calls;
• Research required components and prepare purchase requests for repairs and projects.

Requirements:

• DEC/AEC in Instrumentation and Control, Industrial Electronics or Automation;
• Certificate in electricity (License C);
• At least 3 years of experience in instrumentation and control, programming and modification;
• Able to read, understand and modify electrical plans;
• French, functional English.
