Designer-Drafter (SolidWorks)

Our client specializes in the design and manufacture of foundations for residential and commercial projects. They are looking for Designer-Drafter.

• Design and draft 3D models of piles and their accessories in SolidWorks;
• Convert files from transfer formats and import/export from SolidWorks formats;
• Communicate with the engineers for specific limitations or design requirements;
• Coordinate with the project manager and customer service for custom piles or pile heads;
• Create technical drawings for production, including various manufacturing notes;
• Maintain a lean file architecture, and seek ways to improve the organization of the files;
• Manage drawing files, revisions, history and archives;
• Create documentation for installation, certification and design.

Requirements:

• DEC Mechanical Engineering or relevant education;
• 3 years of experience in design-drafting;
• Knowledge of Solidworks;
• Asset: Ability to read structural drawings;
• Bilingual.
